Interesting Facts about Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter


Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is a 2012 American action fantasy horror film based on the 2010 mashup novel of the same name. The real-life figure Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States (1861–1865), is portrayed in the novel and the film as having a secret identity as a vampire hunter.
Things you might want to know about the film;
► This is the first big role for Benjamin Walker. He initially starred as Andrew Jackson in the Alex Timbers/Michael Friedman musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson
According to Benjamin, he read a number of biographies on Lincoln to help prepare for the role.
Benjamin Walker beat Adrien Brody, Josh Lucas, James D'Arcy, and Oliver Jackson-Cohen for the role.
►The author , Seth Grahame-Smith, was praised for transforming the greatest figure from 19th century American history into the star of an original vampire tale with humor, heart and bite is a rare find indeed.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter debuted on June 22, 2012 in the United States screening at 3,108 theaters. It grossed $6,300,000 on its opening day, domestically and $701,000 at its midnight showings and ended up grossing $16.6 million over the weekend in third place behind Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted and Disney Pixar's Brave.
► The film will feature Linkin Park's song "Powerless", from their 2012 album Living Things.

Monster University : A Prequel to Monsters Inc


Our beloved monsters are back! Monster University is something that we should look forward to next year. It's a prequel film of 2001 hit animated film Monster Inc. Set about ten years before the events of Monsters, Inc., James P. Sullivan and Mike Wazowski meet in college and plan to become scarers at Monsters, Inc.
John Goodman, Billy Crystal, Steve Buscemi, Jennifer Tilly, Frank Oz, and John Ratzenberger will reprise their roles from the first film. The film is set for release on June 21, 2013.

Interesting Facts about Brave


Brave is Walt Disney's newest 3D computer-animated fantasy adventure film.
Brave follows a story of a skilled archer named Merida defies an age-old custom, causing chaos in her kingdom. After consulting a witch for help, her family becomes cursed and Merida is forced to undo the spell herself before it is too late.
Princess Merida was voiced by Kelly Mcdonald. Brave has received mostly positive reviews from film critics and debuted strongly in the box office.
Here are some interesting trivia about the film that you might wish to know.
Princess Merida is the first ever Female protagonist in a Pixar Film.
►The voice role of Princess Merida was originally offered to Reese Witherspoon but due to some scheduling issues, the role was given to Kelly.
►Just like all Pixar films, John Ratzenberger will be a part of the film voicing a guard named Gordon.
►The end credits include a special tribute to businessman Steve Jobs.

She finds herself enjoying her new life and abilities. However, the vampire Irina misidentifies Renesmee as an "immortal child", a child who has been turned into a vampire, and because immortal children are uncontrollable, creating them has been outlawed by the Volturi. After Irina presents her allegation to the Volturi, they plan to destroy Renesmee and the Cullens. In an attempt to survive, the Cullens gather other vampire clans from around the world to stand as witnesses and prove to the Volturi that Renesmee is not an immortal child.

Rock of Ages Film Trailer

is an American comedy musical film directed by Adam Shankman. The film is an adaptation of the 2006 Chris D'Arienzo rock jukebox Broadway musical of the same name. The film stars country singer Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta with an ensemble cast including Tom Cruise, Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Paul Giamatti, Malin Ã…kerman, Bryan Cranston, with Alec Baldwin and Mary J. Blige. The film features the music of Bon Jovi, Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard, Foreigner, Journey, Poison, Pat Benatar, Whitesnake, Night Ranger, Twisted Sister, and REO Speedwagon. Just like the other film adapted from Broadway Musical like "Hair Spray" and "Phantom of the Opera", "Rock of Ages" didn't do well in the Box Office considering that it is star-studded film.

The film debuted with $15.1 million in box office receipts behind the previous week's holdovers Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted and Prometheus. Although grossing much lower than expected, the film still had the sixth-highest opening ever for a musical, and third all-time for one adapted from a stage production.
Rock of Ages follows a story of small town girl Sherrie (Julianne Hough) and city boy Drew (Diego Boneta), who meet on the Sunset Strip while pursuing their Hollywood dreams.
